The Safety Centre Charity is the world’s first and the regions leading safety education charity. Teaching children, young people and adults life saving learning through our immersive education offerings. Our pioneering education centre Hazard Alley based in Kiln Farm, Milton Keynes, is the world’s first immersive education centre, designed to teach life saving learning in everyday scenarios. The centre adapts to meet the changing needs of our communities and now includes a choices and consequences scenario where children talk about their choices around and the consequences of carrying a knife. As well as fire safety, water safety, rail and road safety, safety in the home, online safety, bullying and shoplifting. The education team also takes our knowledge and expertise into schools across the region, through our outreach programme covering topics including knife crime, online safety, drug and alcohol safety, emergency services, and gas safety. Since reopening after the pandemic we were thrilled to educate over 14,000 children, young people and adults with life-saving learning in our COVID recovery year. Our centre is available for conference and meeting room hire as well as hiring the centre for team building days outside of the office in an immersive setting. We also offer first aid, fire marshal, paediatric first aid and mental health first aid sessions at our centre and on site for organisations, businesses and individuals.
